SHANTI-MAITREE is non-governmental social development Organization established by a group of dedicated development activists to strive the fruit of development to the needy tribal and other. The Organization is completed successfully its service in the field with focusing on different aspects of welfare and development the organization made an accepted way. The organization registered under the societies Registration Act of 1860 as a non-profit making and non-political organization in nature. There is commitment, dedication and enthusiasm among and needy for help. SHANTI-MAITREE has been organized different programmers with the active participation of the local community by giving more focus on tribal areas and people at the need. The Organization is having a well defined Bye-law and memorandum of Association with General Body as well as Governing Body for strengthening its function more transparent and functional.
Since inception, the Organization has been successfully implementing different activities with mission “To improve the quality of life through intervention pertaining to health and livelihood specially emphasizing women empowerment and Child Care in the community for their sustainable development with new socio-economic order in which the poor as well as women live at par with others following values of sustainable development, global common hood and sympathy towards the weaker section of the society”.
