Networking occurs at a variety of levels. At the level of neighborhoods and communities, it is a matter of creating reciprocal relationships with other members of society. In many instances, parties meet informally to share a meal or hold a casual meeting. They often share resources, contacts and information with one another. As a result of these conversations and newly found connections. Networking is a matter of creating useful linkages both within and among communities, organizations and societies in order to mobilize resources and achieve various goals.
SHANTI MAITREE have been participating in different developmental activities, Relief and Rehabilitation activities with the involvement of District level as well as State and National level NGO Forums like PHULBANI ACTION GROUP (PAG), NSA, Wada Na Todo Abhiyan, WPC, FIDR, COVA, MISSIONJUSTICE, GUIDSTARINDIA, MISSIONJUSTICE, NOW Bhubaneswar and other Agencies during natural calamities, issue based activities, Right based activities etc. where and whenever required. As SHANTI MAITREE, we have kept close relation and cooperation among the entire network NGOs and joined our hands for the solution of greater and common issues for the benefit of the society.
Partnership with Govt. & Non-Govt. Agencies
Voluntary Organizations and Non-Government Organizations play a major role in the development of the nation by supplementing the efforts of the Government. It is very much essential to build partnership with both Govt. and Non-Govt. Agencies to apply for grants under various schemes of Ministries / Departments / Government Bodies.
Shanti Maitree as an organization has been working with so many multi various activities at the community level by building up good relationship, mutual understanding and built up partnership with them to take forward all kinds of activities to its destiny and to ensure a result.
